Today's verse
Today's verse Surah Al-Ahjab - Verse 20
Meaning:
They think the combined forces are
not gone yet. If they come, they will wish they had dwelt among the countryside
(and learned of you) from there! (19) And if they had been among you, they would
have participated in the battle only slightly.
Tafsir:
19. That is, the cowardly
hypocrites could not believe it even though the infidel army was defeated and
returned. They are so timid that if the army of the infidels returns and
attacks, they will wish to leave the city and go to a country and live there as
long as the war lasts and inquire about the situation of the war and what is the
condition of the Muslims. (-Translator, Tafsir Usmani)
